Thanks to a massive team effort from the local vert skaters, a mammoth fundraiser, and the expertise of All-Terrain Trev, Wales’ only vert ramp got build during the summer of 2020 and we are very lucky they chose us as the venue to build it in! It’s an 11ft high, 32ft wide monster.
Age limits: To skate the vert you must be at least 10 years old (parental permission needed for under 16s). Under 18’s must wear helmets, but we recommend everyone does, and pads up too.
Ability: The vert isn’t for beginners. It’s a really big ramp. Please only book if you are a competent skater or BMX rider (no pegs sorry). We are looking to run vert lessons in the future for those wanting to get into it. Watch this space!
Times and prices: It’s paid for separately to our indoor park (all the money goes into a vert pot to pay for its upkeep) - it’s only £5 for unlimited day access. You’ll also need to be a Spit & Sawdust skatepark member so if you’ve not been before head to the counter and sign up on your first visit (costs £1 and you have to bring an adult to sign you in if you are under 16).
The Vert is open whenever we are, until the sun goes down.
Weather: The ramp is outside. If it’s raining the session will be cancelled and you can reschedule or be refunded.
