FOOD ETHOS

At Spit & Sawdust, we're really proud of the food we serve, not just because we believe it's delicious and it’s all homemade by us, but because we are rigorous about supporting local, ethical suppliers. All our beef, bacon and eggs are organic and sourced from Penrhiw Farm, our bratwurst sausages from Trealy Farm Charcuterie, our bbq sauce, jam and other preserves from Eira at Inner City Pickle and our bread from Allen's Bakery in nearby Roath. We use local organic veg from Paul’s Veg when we do catering work and use the Welsh Coffee Company for our coffee beans. We’re also proud of our expanding menu of vegetarian and vegan fayre.

We make our food fresh to order, with the best possible ingredients, but we also believe our food should be enjoyed by everyone, which is why we make sure that everything on our cafe menu is as affordable as possible.
