Carlota Nóbrega and Gweni Llwyd

Fuzzy Bunny was a dialogue between artists Gweni Llwyd and Carlota Nóbrega. Drawing from the game of the same name, the exhibition showcased the interplay between their two practices, as well as developments from previous work. The exhibition took place throughout the cafe and in the skatepark, under ramps and videos were displayed through peep-holes.

The project was a partnership with Cardiff Met university. As well as simply wanting to offer two promising new artists one of their first exhibitions on graduating, the collaboration aimed to offer artists extended support and critical exchange in the first few months as they transition from education to professional art practice. We wanted to offer the artists time and the opportunity for conversations about their work, and space to experiment with new ways of presenting.
