Book a space on our Skate Rats day skate camp! Open to 7-15 year olds.

Once you've booked a space you'll receive a sign up form that will need to be completed for each child before dropping them off.  BOOK YOUR SPOT HERE - Limited spaces so jump on it!!

WHATS INCLUDED:

A whole day of skateboarding with our tutors and drop in creative workshops throughout the day.

We can also provide Safety Gear & a skateboard if needed.

Water and Squash provided all day.

Simon (Herbivore) and Nia (Spit & Sawdust) have teamed up to bring you the latest in a series of suppers celebrating the old Celtic Calendar. 

This time we'll be celebrating Ostara, the Spring Equinox. A time when light and dark are in balance, spring shoots are appearing and the earth is gently warming.

Join us at Spit & Sawdust for a seasonal, communal feast.

We’ve got our pals from Cardiff Car Club taking over our carpark on Sun 16th Feb. Come on down … admire some classic car beauts!! Skate from 12pm (Under 7 session on as normal 10-12pm). Mugs of tea and coffee, and our famous baps at the ready!

***NEW TIME***9am*** Hi all, we thought we’d bring the time forward, to start before Spit opens to the public. There toilets to use in the skatepark, a banging cafe!, and a vert ramp if you fancy throwing down a quick Christ air!?

We’re starting the year off with another supper club celebrating the Celtic wheel of the year. Nia has put together a cosy menu using local winter produce, with a little hint of spring at the end to get us in the mood for the warmer weather to come. Email to book a place at the table. Skateboard GB’s first Junior event of 2025!

The “Survival of the Sickest“ comp continues here at spit & Swadust!.

With the emphasis on fun and progression these are a great opportunity for young skateboarders who want an introduction to competition.

Under 12’s & Under 16’s

There will be prizes awarded for the top three in each age group and gender.

Here we go again!!!! With the success of the last round Free taster lessons from Skateboard GB and Samsung are back, for one day only!

As part of this, we will be offering taster lessons for anyone who is new to skateboarding to come give it a go. It's free, and all the equipment is included!

We’ve got 3 sessions 5pm / 6pm / 7pm on Monday 25th November. Limited space available so grab your spot now!

Christmas is coming!! We have another night market planned, this time on a MONDAY evening from 6-10pm. The market will be entirely set up in the skatepark (no skating this time), and we will have a lovely cosy set up in the cafe for people to eat, drink & hang out. Now all we need are some beautiful stalls to fill it!! If you’re a maker, creator, artist or designer we would love you to get in touch.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE WEDNESDAY 27th NOVEMBER. We will contact all applicants to let you know if you’ve been successful in getting a spot.
