This year were heading to Santa Carla - Murder Capital of the world. For an eighties Outcast Halloween disco. We’re taking you to a trip to the boardwalk - join us for a party fuelled with sweet treats, bar concoctions - shots, cocktails & punch, a gorgeous halloween inspired menu - all to a hauntingly head rolling soundtrack!

Dress to impress! Get planning your disgusting, glorious, costumes & win free skate park entry until the end of the year … for those of you who don’t roll we will have an equally epic prize ready (tbc)!

OUR SKATE RATS CAMPS ARE TAKING A SPOOKY TWIT THIS HALF TERM

Book a space on our Skate Bats day skate camp! Open to 7-15 year olds.

WHATS INCLUDED:

A whole day of skateboarding with our tutors, plus Halloween themed art workshops with Emma.

We can also provide Safety Gear & a skateboard if needed.

Water and Squash provided all day.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Basic skateboarding skills

Bring a packed lunch

Come & experience a feast of phantasmagoric treats! Our regular night market is taking a walk on the dark side this October. With Cute spooky apparel, jewellery, fiendish cakes, ceramics, prints & more.
Experience the vibrant atmosphere of our Night Market, where the ghouls comes alive after sunset. Stroll through a diverse array of stalls featuring local artisans, unique handcrafted goods, and delicious food & drinks from the cafe. We’ll even have some special poisons on offer!

Gather with friends and family to support local businesses & have a spooky ol’ time.

LIL SPOOKS WORKSHOPS

SAT 19th & SUN 20th OCTober | 12 - 2pm | £3 each or £5 for both

SATURDAYS SESSION

THE EXQUISITE CORPSE & BOX HEAD MONSTERS

We’ll start the session with some drawing fun using the surrealist game of Exquisite Corpse. This group drawing exercise will fire up the imagination, create some interesting creatures, lots of laughs and inspire the next project.

Then we can get the paints and paper out, using our drawings (or something fresh) to create a Box head monster mask out of recycled boxes & materials for halloween.

SUNDAYS SESSION

BATS & FORTUNE TELLERS

This session is a little less messy and focuses on paper folding. First we will make an origami bat with flapping wings. Then a pine cone bat to hang as a decoration.

Next we’ll draw & decorate a paper fortune teller and learn how to fold one.

Before Vampires glittered, this 80’s classic was played on a VHS on repeat - Teenage vampires, vampire hunters who own a comic store, motorbikes, boardwalks, the sax man, great dogs ….

Joel Schumacher’s 1987 classic is an absolute gem. If you haven’t seen it … WHAAAAT! Get a ticket NOW. If you have seen it, then why not watch it for the millionth time in a skatepark.

We will have a few little surprises, banging soundtracks and a vibe that immerses you right into the murder capital of the world!

Refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the movies, food & drink menus to be announced nearer the time… each night will be subtly themed to the movie.
